[What do you get when you pluck someone from the only world they've ever known, put them in a completely different one, and give them technology they've never even heard of?

You get this video post. Which starts off mostly by accident, as this kid managed to get to the recording program through a combination of guessing and pure luck. It might be amusing, though, that he's holding the Gear too close to his face when it starts.]

--and this better be the right one. The light came on...

[A pause, and some movement, then the face goes away to show more of the kid, a teenager wearing an odd assortment of clothing--what looks like the top half of a jogging suit over some sort of puffy pants. Behind him are what look like tree branches.]

Hey, whoever's watching this, I've got some questions. I want to know what this world is, who stuck me here, and why I'm here. If this is some Nobody's idea of a joke, it's not funny, and you're going down when I find you.

[A pause.]

And what's this white stuff everywhere? It's cold!

This country's name is Johto. Unfortunately I don't think any of us knows why or how we were brought here, so in that part I cannot help.

I would, however, recommend that you don't stay in the snow too long, you may catch a cold.

I'd be inside, if I didn't get kicked out of the house I woke up in. The woman living there gave me a backpack and told me I needed to get going.

[Possibly because he yelled at her, but details.]

That's the norm...

Most of the people who arrive here appear in that house, and that lady always seems convinced that they are her children. Everyone ends up just like you.

As far as I know, the people in the laboratory let newcomers stay a while... If not, the next town is three days away from where you appeared.
