[What do you get when you pluck someone from the only world they've ever known, put them in a completely different one, and give them technology they've never even heard of?

You get this video post. Which starts off mostly by accident, as this kid managed to get to the recording program through a combination of guessing and pure luck. It might be amusing, though, that he's holding the Gear too close to his face when it starts.]

--and this better be the right one. The light came on...

[A pause, and some movement, then the face goes away to show more of the kid, a teenager wearing an odd assortment of clothing--what looks like the top half of a jogging suit over some sort of puffy pants. Behind him are what look like tree branches.]

Hey, whoever's watching this, I've got some questions. I want to know what this world is, who stuck me here, and why I'm here. If this is some Nobody's idea of a joke, it's not funny, and you're going down when I find you.

[A pause.]

And what's this white stuff everywhere? It's cold!

I haven't found anyone to travel with. I guess I could've asked the woman who claimed to be my mom...

She wouldn't go even if you tried. Heck, I doubt she ever leaves the house.

[He's not leaving his tree shelter right now, even though it's not the best.]

You know, you should at least try and hit the next town before you take cover.

[Because a roof is safer than a tree, you doof.]

[Excuse you. This tree is doing fine so far, as long as the wind isn't too bad. Besides, he's a day and a half away from the the nearest cities. He's just taking temporary shelter.]

Hey, I'm just stopping here temporarily. Stop trying to help me. You're not supposed to be helping me.

[He snickers.]

Why, you got a problem with that?

[Repliku's face is an unhappy one. He actually looks sort of like a little kid pouting, just a bit.]

It's weird that you don't hate me.

Why would I hate someone I just met?

[Gosh, you're not making sense, dude.]

To me, we haven't just met. It's just really weird.

Except I haven't gone through any of that. Instead, I've spent a few years here.

Whatever went down back home doesn't really apply here.
