[What do you get when you pluck someone from the only world they've ever known, put them in a completely different one, and give them technology they've never even heard of?

You get this video post. Which starts off mostly by accident, as this kid managed to get to the recording program through a combination of guessing and pure luck. It might be amusing, though, that he's holding the Gear too close to his face when it starts.]

--and this better be the right one. The light came on...

[A pause, and some movement, then the face goes away to show more of the kid, a teenager wearing an odd assortment of clothing--what looks like the top half of a jogging suit over some sort of puffy pants. Behind him are what look like tree branches.]

Hey, whoever's watching this, I've got some questions. I want to know what this world is, who stuck me here, and why I'm here. If this is some Nobody's idea of a joke, it's not funny, and you're going down when I find you.

[A pause.]

And what's this white stuff everywhere? It's cold!

Evan is a good name. [ He smiles, and it's obvious he's committed to remembering it ]

Terra.

[He smiles a little as well. He likes it too.]

I thought so too. Terra, huh? Uh, nice to meet you.

And you. [ He thinks for a moment ] So...Where do you come from in our world?

I...lived in Castle Oblivion before I came here.

Castle Oblivion? I've never heard of that place.

I don't know what world it's on, since I've never been outside of it, until I arrived here.

[He is the most helpful.]

Never been outside it? That's...[ Terra doesn't know what to say. That's got to be really tough. ]

Nope. Not that 'outside' is much of an improvement, with how cold it is.

[He and snow have a terrible relationship so far.]

You need a coat. Do you happen to have one?

No...just this.

[He holds out one arm, showing Terra the long-sleeved jacket he's wearing. Not proper winter wear, but it's better than nothing.]

I can deal with it if I keep moving. I'm fine.

You need to have a proper coat soon. Will you be with Riku any time soon?

[ Gotta take care of all the little ones X( ]

No. I have no idea where he is, and I don't really want to see him. I'll get a coat when I get to the next town.

Alright. [ He wants to ask, but it's rude to pry. ] If you need any help, contact me immediately, alright?

I will. Thanks...Terra, right?

Right. [ A smile ] Nothing to thank me for, it's hard to do things alone.
