Sixth Step -> Video/Action for Olivine

[G'morning, everyone! Hope whoever's watching this doesn't mind some shaky video. It doesn't start off that way--the camera's pointed towards Rep's panicked face first, then up to the sky, then back to his face.]

This thing just hatched a few days ago, and--

[He moves the gear's camera again to catch a baby Aerodactyl flying in small circles above him.]

--and I have no idea how to train it, since it won't listen to me at a--aagh!

[The camera swings wildly, catching a flash of grey and several crashes just off-camera. Someone's used Rock Slide on his trainer, but either aimed poorly or just missed. When the video settles, it's showing the resulting pile of rocks, a Jigglypuff wandering into the frame to check them out. Off-camera are a Noctowl attempting to 'talk' to the Aerodactyl and a Houndoom.]

...I'd like to get him back in his ball, at least.

I used music and a Psychic type to train Aglon... they aren't good with words, but if yours is less... um, like Riku's Terror, you can try something similar.

I used a water type to shoot Aglon down when she got all uppity.

[It's almost a pity Laguna doesn't have his Aerodactyl with him on the road, but...
Right now, he's riding his Pidgeot - his Pidgeot who's running across the land. Givin' Steelix a rest.]
Have y'tried offering it some food? When Riley first hatched, he wouldn't do anything until I gave him some meat.
[Of course, Riley is the opposite of most Aerodactyl...]

I don't have any water types...

[Yet. He hasn't been as interested in them so far.]

I haven't tried music yet.

I bought some meat for him, but he doesn't seem to want it. Wrong kind?

[Possibly because it's just bored, rather than hungry. Who knows.]

[Rep's sitting on the ground, and the Aerodactyl is still flying around above him, but if Obito approaches, he might get divedbombed by the tiny dino.]

[He pointed at the sky.] This guy.

Have you tried knocking him out the sky yet? Getting him in his ball while he's down could work. [A short pause, then a snort.] He probably wouldn't appreciate it, though.

Slap that beast on the snout every time he's unruly. Claim your goddamn dominance.

[As per the suggestion of one of the people on the network, he's going to try throwing things at the Pokémon. Specifically a small rock from the rock pile.]

No...but that's not a bad idea.

[He might just sound a little too excited about doing that. But there'll be (mostly) silence on his end as he attempts that.]

I would if I could reach him. He's kinda several feet above my head right now.

[Perhaps a little too excited, but given the situation, she can't really fault him for it. Instead she'll just go about her business until he speaks again; after all, there's plenty of other things to do around here.]

Not yet. Have you tried waving a treat at him to get him down?

[He scowls when the rock misses, though the flying 'mon does drop lower and starts flying in wider circles.]

He's not interested. Well, wasn't earlier. I could try again.

[He pushes himself up and makes his way to his backpack, looking for the meat he bought earlier.]

Are you sure you're using the right kind?

[For a few minutes, it'll be mostly silent, then she'll hear a screech and Rep shouting.]

Come down here and I won't have to do thi--whoa, not like that...

[Another screech and a thud.]

Stop squirming!

[The 'mon divedbombed him, he grabbed it, and is currently trying to hold onto it.]

I don't know the right kind! I just heard they eat meat, so I went and bought some. Hey, get down here!

[He'll try waving the now open package at the Aerodactyl--it's something resembling raw bacon--to see what happens. It gets the baby's attention this time, but just enough that it lowers itself to just out of Rep's reach to stare between him and the treat.]

Baby Dragon-thing, you should let him at least feed you.

[Her gear gets a look when the shouting starts, and then she sighs. Not going well, apparently. What type is Aerodactyl, anyway...Rock and Flying? Huh...]

If you have anything capable of using Ice or Water Type attacks, now would be a good time to use them.

Well, you can get an ice type, that would do it too. Something ranged to take it out of the air.

I dunno if the music thing works all the time, but it works with all my Pokemon. But they get used to me and my... meness. So music is pretty much always a thing. I sing with the route music sometimes!

Wow! [ that is officially her reaction to every new pokemon she's seen on the gear. ]

...it looks like it'd take a ballista to take that beast down.

The route music...oh, the stuff that plays in the background. You actually like that?

[Really, he shouldn't be surprised that she would.]

I bet Nami could knock him out of the air if she wanted to, since he's still a baby...Pink Thing, get over here.
